    The objectives of the Trust are :-

    Promoting Management related educational courses for the employed community at large

    Offering them a cost-effective and qualitative education without affecting their day-to-day routine work thereby ensuring their work-life balance is maintained.

  2. What are the eligibility criteria for joining EMBA/MHRM ?

    • EMBA
      • Bachelor's degrees from Recognized University with three years' post qualification work experience as a Manager/Supervisor.
      • Diploma holders of Recognized University with five years' post qualification work experience as a Manager/Supervisor.
      • Post Graduate teachers with minimum four years research and teaching experience.
    • MHRM
      • Any Graduate from a Recognized University
      • Any Graduate with MBA or PGDBM or PGD in HRM will be given lateral entry (awaiting for University approval) to second year MHRM
  3. What is the duration of the course and how frequently exams are conducted ?

    • EMBA - 1 Year ( 2 Semesters)
    • MHRM - 2 Years (Non-Semester)

    University Exams are conducted at the end of each semester for EMBA and in the case of MHRM exams are conducted at the end of each year .

  5. What is the frequency of contact classes ?

    There will be a 7-day contact class session towards the end of each semester for EMBA.There will be a 14-day contact class session towards the end of each year for MHRM

  6. What is the role of Kuvempu University ?

    KU will conduct the exams, evaluate the answer papers and award the Degree Certificates on successful completion of the course.

  7. What is the role of ICMBS Educational Trust ?

    It is the role of ICBMS to promote the courses, enroll the students, provide them with study6 materials and organize the lecture classes, to ensure that students are benefitted through this course.

  8. Who will conduct the Exams ?

    KU will be conducting the exams at a Centre in Chennai.

    In case the No. of students exceeds 25 in a town/city, arrangements shall be made to offer an Exam Centre in that town/city.

  9. What is the methodology of teaching ?

    Course contents will be made available in the form of Softcopy as well as Hardcopy at the beginning of each semester and incase of MHRM it will be made available at the beginning each year.

    There will be a 7-day contact class session towards the end of each semester for EMBA.There will be a 14-day contact class session towards the end of each year for MHRM

  10. What is the methodology of evaluation ?

    Written exams will be conducted and evaluated by K U at the end of each semester in case of EMBA for 80 Marks. In case of MHRM the exams will be conducted at the end of each year for 80 Marks.

    Assignment/Case study - There will be two in each subject for 20 Marks.

  11. What is the pass criteria ?

    Candidates will have to get minimum of 45% marks to pass in each paper (including IA & Theory)

  12. How are supplementary exams conducted ?

    A registered candidate, who fails of fails to appear in any one or more papers in his first Examination, shall be eligible to re-write the same paper(s) by appearing in subsequent examinations within double the duration from the date of first registration, by paying prescribed supplementary examination fee.

  13. What is the mode of payment for Course Fees ?

    Student can make the payments through 2 separate demand drafts.

    • Rs 3400/- drawn in favor of Finance Officer, Kuvempu University, payable at State Bank Of Mysore, BR Project, Shimoga.
    • Rs 5100/- drawn in favor of ICBMS Educational Trust, payable at Chennai.
    • Both these drafts5 should be kept in an envelope and sent to ICBMS Chennai.

  15. Will I be getting MBA Certificate on successfully completing the EMBA course?

    No, You will be getting an EMBA certificate(Executive MBA).

  16. Kindly clarify on articles on newspaper regarding Government regularising MBA Program. Will it have any Impact on this program ?

    Our institution is affiliated to Kuvempu University in Karnataka State which is recognised both by the University Grants Commission and then Association of Indian Universities. Hence,there will not be any problem.

  17. Whether Executive-MBA(EMBA) is a post graduation course ?

    Yes.The eligibility criteria would confirm this.
